For card sellers
Better card photos. Better sales.
PhotoSensei™ shows you how to shoot your cards so buyers can actually see what they’re getting — straight on, corners sharp, no glare on the holo. All with the phone in your pocket.
What you get
A lesson built for cards: Trading Cards That Sell. It walks you through the lighting, angle and framing that show real condition. Pokémon, Magic, One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh!, sports — whatever you’re flipping.
Take the shot, send it in, and the AI checks it against the lesson. Corners readable? Glare gone? It tells you what you got right and what to fix, and scores it — Best: 2 of 3. Reshoot until you hit 3 of 3, and you’ll know the photo’s ready to list.
It’s one of eight Sell It lessons. The other seven cover sneakers, watches, coins, vinyl and more, if you sell more than cards.
Four steps. That’s it.
- Download PhotoSensei.
- Unlock it — $1.99, one time. This buys the app itself. You own it.
- Add Pro AI Monthly — $3.99 a month. This is the part you’re here for: it turns on the AI feedback and the card lesson. Pro is an add-on to the app, which is why you need Unlock first.
- Open the card lesson. Tap Trading Cards & Marketplace on your DOJO screen. Or tap TRAIN, and find Sell It in the top right corner of the Lessons page.
What it costs
$5.98 to get started: $1.99 once, plus your first month of Pro. After that it’s $3.99 a month until you cancel, and you cancel through the App Store or Google Play like any other subscription. Pro covers up to 500 photos a month, which is a lot of cards.
The bonus you get anyway
Your $1.99 Unlock also opens 86 photography lessons, set up like a martial arts dojo. You work through five belt ranks, from Closed Shutter to Sensei Eye, and nobody hands them to you — you earn each one by doing the lessons in order. Finish all 86 and you hit Shihan, the top.
You don’t need any of it to sell cards. The card lesson works on its own, and it doesn’t count toward your belt. But if you ever want to get better at photos in general, it’s already paid for.
Worth knowing
The example images in the lessons are made with AI. Your photos aren’t. PhotoSensei reads them to give you feedback and never stores or changes them. The privacy policy has the details.
